- YOUR MAGNET TO WELL-BEING By Sharon Warren,M.A. According to legend, acorns have traditionally been hung on Christmas trees as symbols of good fortune and prosperity. As you know, the acorn is a tiny seed that grows into a grandiose and great majestic tree. The acorn reminds us that mighty miracles come from small and humble beginnings. Appreciation is like that also. When we acknowledge any blessings that are present in our lives, we become more aware of our good and what is working. We then become a mega-magnet with more momentum for goodness. When we are vibrating as Deliberate Creators, every thought begins small (like the acorn) and through the Law of Attraction grows larger until it expands and leads us to fruitful action and outcomes (the oak tree). When we do not take time to identify and state our dominant hearts desire, then we are more easily influenced by other people or outside circumstances or often stay stuck in old habits. As we clarify our dominant intentions of what we want to receive and allow, or to give and extend to others, we are much more in creative control of your life experience. I have maintained a Gratitude Journal for years. It keeps the pump primed for what IS flowing well in my life and reveals how much I have to be grateful for on a day-to-day basis. Since what we think about expands, we become a magnet for well-being through appreciation. WHERE IS YOUR ATTENTION FOCUSED? Dr. Phil has said, "You are either contributing or contaminating in all daily life interactions." Often people create by default by giving their attention to what they dont want. When we are looking at the problem, we are often "resistant" to any solution because we are focused only on the difficulty. If we continue vibrating with the dilemma, inspired answers and spiritual resolutions arent present because we are not open to them energetically. We have to deliberately and consciously offer more thoughts toward solutions and intentions than toward the lack of them in the midst of challenges. In my book, Magnetizing Your Hearts Desire, I share that when we are aligned with our hearts desires, we are powerful, personal electro-magnetic human beings vibrating on purpose. As we come to appreciate and understand our connectedness with our Stream of Well Being, we are a positive magnet and divine attractor. "You cannot improve your life by pushing against what you do not want. The more you are in conscious connection pulsating and resonating pure, positive energy with Source, the more vibrational matches you create and attract." We need to stay aware and conscious of where our attention is focused and how we are flowing our energy. When I walk daily as part of my exercise routine, I sometimes find one or two golf balls, and when I am really lucky, several times I have found three or four balls in one day in unlikely places. On my birthday on July 2, I found a total of 38 golf balls because I asked for fun signs of new birth! It was a bonanza day and I kept finding more balls in the most unexpected places. It was so playful and joyful to spy another ball. I had to roll up my tee shirt and make a pouch to hold them all! I felt like the Universe was having great fun and the metaphor to me was the ball is in your courtgo for it! I am sure I looked like a Mama Kangaroo on that walk back home. I dont golf, but I was thankful to have found them. The more grateful we are, the more our joy increases since what we are focused on expands! A BROTHER LIKE THAT! Recently I read of a minister visiting poor families near the border. One day he stopped by a dingy old home. A family lived inside with two boys, one of them disabled. After his visit, the minister walked out to his car. The older of the two boys was staring at the car, obviously admiring its style. The boy asked, "Where did you get this car?" The minister smiled, "I dont make a lot of money," he admitted. "But my brother is in the oil business and hes been pretty successful. So he bought this car for me." The younger of the two boys looked up and said, " I wish I could be a brother like that." The boys statement struck home with the minister. Instead of wishing he had a brother who could give him a car, he wished he could be the kind of brother who would buy a car for someone who needed it. This story touched my heart deeply. The younger boy was already rich because he had the soul of a generous giving spirit. This month, as you flow energy for your hearts desires, I invite you to clarify what your dominant intentions are--what you most want to receive, as well as give to others. Do what always feeeels good, which is the secret of being a Deliberate Creator! The key to realizing a dream is to not focus on success, but on its significance in your life and in all the lives you touch. Shine on! "What I think about, I bring about. The thought of success will foster success. The thought of love will foster love. The thought of security will foster security. What am I thinking about today?"
