Author of the bestselling book Secrets in the Fields:
The Science and Mysticism of Crop Circles.

Crop circles are a genuine phenomenon. After all, how can people cause the water inside the plants to boil for a fraction of a second? How can they alter the crystalline structure of the local soil – a feat requiring 1400 degrees Celsius of heat; and how can people, supposedly working in total darkness, encode the designs with hitherto unknown geometric theorems, some of which have baffled even university scholars?

In addition to the science, the most fascinating area of research into crop circles involves the psychic connection between people and the Circlemakers. If we observe the human mind as a collection of waveforms and frequencies, it is possible to see how people have the capacity to see beyond the limitations of the physical world. The typical 'awake' brain works at a frequency of 30 Hz, whereas the brain of a psychic at work is 7.5 Hz. Interestingly, stone chambers and Gothic cathedrals influence brainwave patterns and effectively drive down the brain's frequency towards the 7.5 Hz range. Such facilities are present in crop circles, which manifest upon the same magnetic energy lines as ancient churches, cathedrals, stone circles and other Neolithic sites.

In the early 1980’s, when crop circles were still simple circular shapes, it was observed how the phenomenon reacted to the thoughts of researchers. In one notable incidence, researcher Colin Andrews recalls how, after a day spent in a circle and pondering over its manifestation, he cried out in frustration, "God, if only you'd give me a clue as to how these were formed." Within seconds, a high-pitched trilling sound surrounded him. The same sound was witnessed and taped on several occasions at other locales, the most famous case involving a BBC cameramen who succeeded in capturing the sound on tape before his £35,000 camera was destroyed. This sound was confirmed by NASA as mechanical – not a bird or a freak of nature – and containing a harmonic of 5.2 kHz.
Researchers even began predicting crop circles: one dreamt of a Celtic cross pattern, never before seen, and the following morning the local farmer told him of a Celtic cross crop circle that materialised in a field behind his home. In another case, a pilot on aerial reconnaissance remarked to a colleague, "all we need right now is to see all the designs that have appeared so far rolled up into a Celtic cross." The next day he flew over the exact same field where 24 hours earlier he had uttered this remark, and below lay a perfect Celtic cross. Coincidence?

Such predictions have a rich history. Author Barbara Hand Clow vectored an unusual design while she worked on a new book on consciousness. The next day, the said tetrahedron design appeared beneath Barbury Castle: an important esoteric, philosophic and Qabballist symbol, and certainly not a simple, archetypal shape that people would draw by accident.

In 1992 a scientific experiment was conducted in Wiltshire, England, to see if subconscious communication was going on between certain individuals and the Circlemakers. Conducted by C.S.E.T.I., the participants mentally projected a design consisting of three circles in triangular alignment, each connected by straight lines, using strong intent. The following morning the projected image materialised some miles away as a crop circle. Mathematician Gerald Hawkins, who had already proved that certain crop circles contained geometrical theorems based on the work of Euclid (300 BC), proved this crop circle contained a diatonic ratio - a mathematical relationship related to the pure music scale.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, a man in New York State had dreamt that a crop circle consisting of three circles connected by three paths would appear in England on the 23rd July. The CSETI crop circle was discovered on the morning of the 24th.

A similar experiment was carried out by members of the Mars Mission, Collette Dowell and Carl Munck, along with a small group of researchers and respected psychics. The basis of Project Mind Link was to physically make a crop circle according to specific mathematical equations, then sit inside and project. A month later a formation bearing a striking similarity appeared some sixty miles away. The design rearranged the circular features outside the man-made experiment but placed them within the triangle. Some would see this as simply coincidental, yet this crop circle was itself a mathematical theorem. Plus, the size was exactly 100 times the scale of the one made by the group, and used an obscure system of measurement - the Megalithic Yard, last used in the construction of Stonehenge. Thus, the group projected a mathematical idea and received one in return

One person who has repeatedly been in contact with crop circles energies is Isabelle Kingston, who’d led a successful career in banking and finance before getting the call to develop her psychic skills. Today she is world-renowned for her sensitive abilities. In 1984 she vectored the Circlemakers, which foretold the appearance of mysterious symbols in southern England. Since then, she has consistently predicted the physical appearance of designs, including their locations. Her communications are often witnessed and taped.

The bulk of her communication comes from a group consciousness named The Watchers (also known as the Shining Beings) who, for thousands of years, have guided humanity. These beings can be traced to the Egyptian Gods, the Neteru, which literary translates as the Shining Ones, who guided the construction of many of our sacred sites such as Europe’s largest 4000-year old mound Silbury Hill (coincidentally, Sil-bury means 'hill of the shining ones'). Such sites were erected as an insurance policy for the future when humanity would require help. And that time is now.

According to the channelled information, crop circles are places of power which are linked to natural elements for the purpose of charging the energy grid, enabling the environment and humanity to overcome the present crisis. It is a stabilising process.
Most revealing about the channelled information is how the crop circles are created using a combination of thought processes, magnetism and sound, all manifested within a light beam. Light beams have been verified by eye-witnesses, who've taken photographs, even filed police reports.

The Watchers describe how individuals can communicate with the energies present in crop circles through meditation and projecting thoughts of love. Also, by opening the self to the elemental energies, anyone can develop the ability to tune-in when and where a crop circle will appear. In 2000, I was driving with Isabelle past a sacred mound named West Kennett long barrow, when I remarked to her how the energy in the field beside 'was ready to pop'; Isabelle concurred there was an energy build up, and a formation was imminent. Twelve hours later, a new crop circle appeared.

Most telling of all are the messages declaring the intention of the Circlemakers: "How we would like you to understand the mysteries in true clarity- but the minds of many have yet to open fully, and thus the work is painstaking and slow. Seek not in the physical, but seek in the spiritual, for this is where the imbalance lies. You also must realise that the energies being transmitted at this time are a combination of all elements and all elemental beings as well as inter-planetary information. There is a coming-together, therefore one source is not the whole picture, and many varying types of information might well be given. It is a time for all to work together- thus all must pool their information and find that a vein of pure gold will run through. There is a new code of understanding being transmitted. It is a blueprint of a new energy-coding {that is} coming on to the planet. We have communicated before many times: it is usually through thought-processes, but now it needs to be seen. Changes are occurring in all people- this sometimes stirs up anxiety and strife before the operation is complete."

Interestingly, recent measurements of energy levels in plants show how their vibrational levels have risen over the decade; blood samples from children born in the last fifteen years are showing new strands of DNA being activated. It seems that changes in organisms are already underway.

In 1997, a colleague of Isabelle's, an American channeller (and accountant) named Jane Ross, successfully predicted nine out of ten crop circle designs, months before the season began. She predicts events, locations and specific details of designs, but receives direct information from specific entities involved in each design (there are other forms of consciousness involved in addition to the Watchers). On many occasions her information is later corroborated by in-depth research into obscure esoteric sources.

In 1998 Jane again received important information regarding crop circles in England: The energy used in their manifestation is increasing each year (since verified by special equipment) and so, too, is the residual energy felt in and around them. A large number of 1998's crop circles contained energy levels of a disruptive nature. This was necessary, according to the Circlemakers, to shatter certain energies on Earth and within certain individuals in order for realignment to take place. Indeed, many people experienced a sharp pain in the cranial area, especially behind the eyes. While this energy isn’t harmful, it disrupts the body's electromagnetic systems as these are realigned: in other words, brought into resonance with the new energies at work. This is of special concern to all those who in the past have experienced healing energies in the circles and feel they have 'been worked with'. Extra-sensitive people will feel the errant energies well outside the perimeter of new crop circles.

One of Jane’s premonitions of a crop circle late in the 1998 season was one resembling "shards of glass". This later turned out to be a double-pentagram design, whose energy could be felt up to a half a mile away, and caused severe dehydration in visitors – a symptom attributed to exposure to infrasound.

Among many predictions given by the Watchers were of signs in the fields carrying codes of energy for imprinting the Earth, and cleansing the ancient sites which lay upon a magnetic grid that covers the world. Twenty years later, this prophesy has certainly taken form, as the energy patterns of the circles are now known to influence the energy grid of nearby ancient sites.

The Watchers also predicted that new technology would be deciphered from the glyphs. This prediction may yet come to light: the psychopharmacologists Dennis and Terrence McKenna chronologically plotted the greatest discoveries and technological developments since 5000 BC, then fed the information into a computer. The data arranged into a hyperbolic curve that flattened out around 1975. Intrigued, they programmed the computer to project and predict future discoveries; this time the line took a dramatic upswing, flying off the scale at 2011, whereupon the predictions ended; during the last two hours of this time-scale, no less than 18 crucial discoveries are predicted, some rivalling the splitting of the atom. These accomplishments would be accompanied by transformations in human consciousness in the year marking the end of the Mayan calendar, which predicts this, the Age of Intellect, to be superseded by the Age of the Spirituality in 2012.

The dramatic and exponential rise in crop circles since the 1980s may be part of this 'law of acceleration'. Of course, whether humanity chooses to accept the potential benefits that crop circles have to offer – particularly the potential for change – is another matter. To quote Joachim-Ernst Berendt: "For centuries on end [science] has patted itself on the back every twenty or thirty years for having reached the pinnacle of scientific inquiry and in this arrogant pose has passed its findings on to its students and successors." And yet the envelope always stretches: Einstein's Theory of Relativity, Hermann Minkowski's space-time equations, and David Bohm's multi-dimensional Universe- ideas that changed the 'irrefutable facts' of science, and at the same time acknowledged these theories as integral to Hinduism and Buddhism philosophy thousands of years before.

So, should we choose to ignore the signs in our fields, I can hear the voice of our distant ancestors exclaiming, "we told you so".
